After a first season with two events in 2022, the number of Suzuki Fishing Masters organised on the main coastlines of the country has increased considerably in 2023 with the organisation of five Masters. And this is just the beginning, as Suzuki Marine’s ambition is to cover the entire country, including inland waters.
But in Saint-Tropez on 25 and 26 August, it’s the Suzuki Fishing ‘Masters of Masters’ that will be taking place in the exceptional setting of the Bay of Saint-Tropez.
By invitation, around 25 boats will be able to take part in this no-kill fishing competition in an area stretching from the Hyères islands to the coast of Cannes! Only fish over 60 cm long that are authorised for this competition will be gill netted. No-kill fishing is a way of promoting fishing while preserving the seas, and the Suzuki Marine Corporation ‘Clean Ocean Project’ trophy will be awarded to the crew that collects the most waste during the trip.
Both RIBs and inboard hulls will be accepted, including several of Suzuki’s industrial partners such as Highfield, 3D Marine, Marshall Garmin and Furuno.
Sporting anglers and enthusiasts, representatives of the distribution network, loyal customers and ambassadors of the Suzuki Fishing Team will all be coming together for an unforgettable and convivial experience, not forgetting the competition!
