Even if the annual regatta season of the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez will start on the 11th and 12th of February 2023 with the Interclub Challenge, the Armen Festival, a popular event for sailors from all over the region and beyond, will take off on the 24th of February until the 5th of March 2023.

This event, created in 1978, combines sailing, skiing and art, offering an art event, a ski event and two weekends of racing, including a return trip from Saint Tropez to Le Lavandou. More than sixty crews compete for various prizes, including the “André Hermann” Challenge, best combined ski-sailing classification, the “René Perrier” Challenge, best combined Art-Sailing classification and, of course, the Armen Trophy: best combined Art-Ski-Sailing classification.

Without forgetting the ranking of each discipline, including that of Sailing, recorded for the Mediterranean IRC championship by the Yacht Club de France. New annual partner of the SNST, the Galeries Bartoux, an international group with 20 galleries, including one in Saint-Tropez, will be honoured during this multidisciplinary Festival. A beautiful alliance between modernity and traditional values.

The 45th edition of the ArMeN festival, an event which takes its name from the words Art, Sea and Snow, will therefore open the ball of major events of the Société Nautique de Saint- Tropez.
Each team (one crew member per boat) will have as its first task

mission to create a work of art according to the year’s theme: make the poster for ArMeN 2024. All the creations made will be exhibited from 24 February to 5 March 2023 at the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez.

A first weekend of racing will take place on 25 and 26 February, starting from Saint-Tropez. The competitors will go to Le Lavandou and return the next day.
The resort of Isola 2000 will then welcome the participants for a ski event on 3 March.

Two crew members from each boat will participate in the skiing event
on a slalom course in Isola 2000. The best time of theon a slalom course in Isola 2000. The best time of the
two will be used to establish the general ranking.
Finally, the second weekend of racing will offer courses in the Gulf of Saint Tropez.
