This Friday, November 11, about sixty sailboats measured in Osiris or IRC took the start of the first race at 11am.
Accompanied by idyllic conditions, calm sea, full sun and wind from 10 to 12 knots from the East, the four groups (two Osiris groups, two IRC groups and the First 31.7 class) with more than three hundred crew members on board, were able to carry out two very nice races on this first day of the regatta in the Gulf of Saint Tropez.
Today, Saturday, November 12, 2022, faced with a wind that did not deign to rise, the competitors had to stay at the dock or at the Club House while waiting for the crew party, which will allow them to meet for a good convivial moment.
At the end of these two races, in the group of the biggest, IRC B, Jérôme Stubler’s RAVING SWAN takes the head of the provisional classification in front of BIM 3 of Jérémy Combe and GIVE ME FIVE with Adrien Follin.
In the IRC A class, Guy Claeys’ JPK EXPRESSO is leading the way ahead of Christelle Renaud’s TEAM CAPTAIN NASON S and Marc Pons’ MACAYA.
In the First 31.7 class, which is playing for its Mediterranean championship, Dominique Lexa’s SAGAI crew is ahead of its counterparts in front of Guy Gorzerino’s PROCYON and Pierre Paturle’s SATINDOLL.
In Osiris, Raphael Duhamel’s LA MICHE followed by Jean-Marie Bisbal’s ALTAIR and Lionel Michon’s L’AUTRE FEMME dominate the OSA group for the moment.
At this stage, everything can still be decided tomorrow, Sunday November 13, during the last day of the regatta where the start can be brought forward to try to complete two races before the prize-giving ceremony scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at the SNST.
