Organized by the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez (SNST) and its partner Suzuki Marine, the 1st Suzuki Master Fishing in no kill in Saint-Tropez was a great success during the weekend of October 15, 2022! Calm sea, beautiful sun and summer temperatures accompanied sixteen boats and fifty-two fishermen during a day of fishing off Saint-Tropez.
Leaving Saint-Tropez at dawn, in a hard or semi-rigid boat, and armed with their rods and the measuring rod to measure the catch, the fishermen had to catch the biggest fish among the species Pelamide, Bluefin Tuna, Albacore, Lancier, Xyphias Swordfish, White Marlin
With its past experience in organizing competitions and big game fishing championships, the SNST was able to perfectly combine the organization at sea with the festive side on land. A great success and a commitment of the Club to develop its fishing activity while preserving the environment by organizing ecological actions. The participants were asked to collect waste at sea during the Master fishing.
At the end of the few catches filmed and measured on board or in the water before being released into the sea, Stéphane Millez’s boat GOSTA won first prize ahead of Jean-Pierre Cappuccio’s MAGA 3 and Julien Hugues’ WATANGA.
In fourth place, Nicolas Fournier’s team aboard LUCIA with Léo Fournier who received the junior prize! Note that there were three women and four juniors during this competition.
In the presence of Pierre Pale, Sales and Marketing Manager of Suzuki Marine, Pierre Roinson, President of the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez, the prize-giving ceremony closed this beautiful moment followed by a good meal at the Club house of the SNST.
